Description
The Tennis bracelet it is an unbroken row of stones of the same size, each set in its own bezel and joined to its neighbors by links that keep the bracelet soft on the wrist. No decorative clasp, no pendant: the line is the jewel.
The stones
8.90 carats of natural sapphires and rubies, arranged in a sequence that transitions from one color to another along the wrist.
Sapphire and ruby are the same stone—corundum—with different impurities: chromium gives the red, iron and titanium the blue, and other combinations give yellow, green, and pink. That is the reason why on a bracelet like this all the stones have the same hardness and react to light in the same way, despite being of different colors.
The difficulty of a rainbow sequence is not finding the colors but finding them with the same saturationa stone paler than its neighbors breaks the progression right there.

The Artistry of Risivi & Co
The color sequence is assembled on the workbench, testing the stones in order until the transition is seamless: it is not planned on paper, because two stones with the same commercial name can have very different saturations.
