The Gothic Fancy Cross Pendant It's a cross 18 kt gold from the Gothic profile, with arms that close in trilobed points. It is the only one in the series entirely in diamonds: the body is pavé with Fancy Vivid Yellow Natural Diamonds, while a cross runs through the center Fancy Brown Natural Diamonds baguette cut, enclosed in a gold frame. The back is polished and engraved with a rose vine.
It measures 2 cm long by 1.5 cm wide, with a thickness of 2 mm: a compact size, designed to be worn every day and not just on special occasions.
The body of the cross bears Fancy Vivid Yellow Natural Diamonds for 0.65 ct, in different calibers: the largest occupy the tips of the arms, the smaller ones follow the inner profile. In the center, Fancy Brown Natural Diamonds for 0.20 ct form the inner cross, with a single stone at the intersection point. The Fancy Vivid Yellow It is the most intense classification of natural yellow in colored diamonds, and here the yellow dialogues with brown without any colorless stones acting as intermediaries: this is the reason why this version is priced differently from the rest of the series.
The back is not left smooth; it features a pattern of roses and leaves that climbs up the vertical arm and opens into four flowers, one at each end. It's the same design that characterizes the entire Gothic series, and it's only discovered when removing the pendant or turning it over in your fingers.
Each jewel is handmade: weight and caratage may vary slightly from what is indicated.
Setting a fancy diamond pavé involves working with color combinations: the stones must be selected one by one to ensure uniform saturation across the entire surface, and a yellow stone that doesn’t match the others stands out more than you might imagine. In the center, the brown baguettes are custom-cut so that the gaps remain closed up to the point where they intersect. Each piece is set and finished by hand in our workshop in Rome. The pendant can be crafted in any size, gold color, and combination of natural gemstones: the price varies based on the final weight of the piece and the carat weight of the gemstones.
