The Gothic Ice Red Cross Pendant It's a cross 18 kt gold From a gothic profile, with arms that close into trefoil points. The front is paved with natural diamonds; in the center, set in a gold frame, runs a second cross of baguette-cut rubies. The back is polished and engraved with a vine of roses.
It measures 2 cm long by 1.5 cm wide, with a thickness of 2 mm: a compact size, designed to be worn every day and not just on special occasions.
Forty-eight stones in all. The body of the cross bears Natural round cut diamonds for 0.48 ct, in different calibers: the largest occupy the tips of the arms, the smaller ones follow the inner profile without interruption. The central cross is formed by natural rubies for 0.28 ct, aligned side by side along the two axes. It is the cleanest version in the series: solid red in the center, with everything else white.
The back is not left smooth; it features a pattern of roses and leaves that climbs up the vertical arm and opens into four flowers, one at each end. It's the same design that characterizes the entire Gothic series, and it's only discovered when removing the pendant or turning it over in your fingers.
Baguette-cut rubies must be selected one by one to ensure a consistent red color throughout the central cross; just one off-tone stone will make the alignment noticeable. Surrounding it, the diamond pavé must flawlessly complete the curved profile of the gothic silhouette without leaving any gaps. Each piece is hand-mounted and finished in our Rome workshop. The pendant can be made in any size, gold color, and combination of natural stones; the price varies based on the final weight of the jewelry and the carat weight of the gems.
