The Gothic Sapphire Cross Pendant It's a cross 18 kt gold From a Gothic profile, with arms that close into trilobed points. Here the roles are reversed compared to the Ice versions: the body is pavé with blue sapphires, while a cross of baguette-cut diamonds runs through the center, enclosed in a gold frame. The back is polished and engraved with a vine of roses.
It measures 2 cm long by 1.5 cm wide, with a thickness of 2 mm: a compact size, designed to be worn every day and not just on special occasions.
Forty-eight stones in total. The body of the cross is covered with natural blue sapphires for 0.61 ct, in different calibers: the largest on the tips of the arms, the smaller ones following the inner profile. In the center, baguette-cut natural diamonds for 0.22 ct form the inner cross, with a princess cut diamond yes 0.02 ct at the crossing point. The dark settings around the sapphires accentuate the contrast with the gold frame that encloses the diamonds.
The back is not left smooth; it features a pattern of roses and leaves that climbs up the vertical arm and opens into four flowers, one at each end. It's the same design that characterizes the entire Gothic series, and it's only discovered when removing the pendant or turning it over in your fingers.
The central princess stone is the point where everything must converge: four baguettes converge on it from as many directions and must be cut to measure so that the settings remain closed. Around it, sapphires of varying sizes follow the curve of the trefoil points without missing a beat. Each piece is hand-mounted and finished in our workshop in Rome. The pendant can be made in any size, gold color, and combination of natural stones: the price varies according to the final weight of the jewel and the carat of the gemstones.
