The Cyber Titanium Half Hoop Earrings They embody Risivi & Co’s most contemporary aesthetic: a half-circle shape with a geometric, faceted profile, where the technical strength of titanium meets the warmth of 18kt white gold and the sparkle of natural diamonds. They are designed for those seeking a piece of jewelry to wear every day—one that is recognizable for its design yet understated in size.
The structure unites two materials with opposite characteristics. Titanium, treated with a dark burnished finish, forms the faceted exterior surface and gives the jewelry lightness and strength.’white gold 18kt defines the shiny edge and the structural part of the earring, creating a sharp contrast between the textured black of the titanium and the brilliance of the precious metal. It is this dialogue between the two materials that gives the earrings their “cyber” character, halfway between classic jewelry and industrial design.
On the faceted surface are embedded natural brilliant-cut diamonds for a total of 0.18 carats, arranged in small diamond-shaped groups following the jewelry's geometry. The choice of color F/G (colorless to near colorless) and of purity VVS/VS ensures that despite the small size of the stones, each diamond maintains maximum transparency and brilliance, creating points of light that stand out against the dark finish of the titanium.
Working with titanium alongside gold is one of the most complex technical challenges in jewelry making: the two metals have very different melting points and behaviors, and combining them into a single piece of jewelry requires specialized expertise and precision craftsmanship. In the Cyber Titanium Earrings, this combination is at the heart of the design: the faceted finish of the titanium is crafted to give depth to the surface, while the setting of the diamonds on the slanted planes requires an expert hand to keep each stone perfectly aligned.
