Risivi & Co. in order to avoid deterioration and / or damage of jewelry, due to wear and tear recommends to its customers a semi-annual (6 months) maintenance / overhaul service where the jewelry will be checked and restored according to the specifications of the individual case (the first overhaul is free and is offered by Risivi & Co.)
In the event that the client does not follow the above recommendation, Risivi & Co. is exempt from any and all responsibility for the status of the jewelry itself.
The Sapphire Daisy Ring it echoes the daisy motif — a stone in the center and a border of smaller petal-like stones — with a natural 0.60 carat sapphire instead of the diamond.
The central sapphire is surrounded by brilliant cut diamonds for 0.24 carats, F/G color and VS clarity, on a setting in 18 kt white gold.
White metal is the right choice with a blue sapphire: it does not impart color to the stone and maintains the contrast between the blue and the light of the diamonds. On a yellow setting, the same sapphire would appear darker.
Each jewel is handmade: weight and caratage may vary slightly from what is indicated.
Sapphire is softer than diamond and requires a different pressure when setting. On a two-and-a-half-gram ring, the contour must be constructed so that the petals support each other, because individually they would be too thin.
