Description
The Frosted Wedding Ring gives up the mirror polish that is the norm on wedding rings and keeps one matte surface. The name describes exactly this: a gold that does not reflect the environment but holds the light, with an appearance closer to raw metal than to polished jewelry.
It is a choice that also changes the use: a matte surface doesn't show micro-scratches the way a glossy one does, where every mark is visible against the light. A wedding ring is worn every day for decades, and this one ages more evenly.
6.40 grams 18K gold kt, without stones.

The Artistry of Risivi & Co
A uniform matte finish is harder than polishing: polishing is forgiving, because the reflection covers it up; matte is not, and every variation in grain remains visible. It must be done in a single pass, with the same movement across the entire surface.
